Hallie is a 14 year old who has a lot of complex medical issues. Because of these health issues it has been hard for Hallie to live a normal life. She had her first major surgery at just one day old. When she was born we were told that her intestines were having a stroke and she needed to have surgery ASAP. They removed  half      of her large intestines and  half  of her small intestines in order for her to survive. Because she is missing so much of her intestines she has to eat at least 5,000 calories a day to keep her body functioning. Since Hallie was born she has had 3 neck surgeries, 1 spine surgery, 2 scar revisions, 1 bowel lengthening, 4 bowel resections

Hallie has gone through so many smaller procedures we can't keep track. Since 2016 Hallie has had 7 surgeries and two hospitalizations. Over all this is the best outcome for Hallie because she is usually
